Grand Canyon!

The Grand Canyon was a highlight but we almost didnt make it! The weather was raining out near the Canyon and when we got to the airport they told us the morning flight was cancelled but they were going to try to get us out there!
On the way to the Canyon it started raining really heavy and the pilot lost vision so he told us we had to turn around which was so dissapointing! We flew for another minute or so and all of a sudden it cleared up! YAY! So we got to the Canyon, landed, took some photos, enjoyed a champagne breaky before heading back to Vegas :) :) Was epically (if thats a word) beautiful and just so crazy that its in the middle of nowhere and SO SO big, you cant even describe to people how big it is unless you have seen it for yourself!

Loves the windy hair!!

New York, New York!

Nothing says welcome to the big apple than a heat wave!!! We arrived and it was just as hot if not hotter than Vegas - YUCK!!

We organised a car to pick us up from the airport and take us to our apartment for the next 8 days. We booked through Air BnB which is a great online website that allows you to rent out someones home or apt at a cheaper rate than you would pay at a hotel. Worked out great for us and the location was very central close to times square and all the action.

We went on lots of fun adventures in NYC including: The lion king on broadway, Rode around central park, dinner at planet hollywood restaraunt, Statue of liberty, world trade centre memorial, Empire state building, St Patricks Cathedral, went and saw a NY yankees game and also saw the WWE wrestling live in Brooklyn.. the list is endless! It was a very jam packed 8 days but we had a blast!!

As I have a million photos i'm going to put the WWE wrestling and NY Yankees game in the next post!

Photos are below.. enjoy! :)

The Memorial - such a privilege to visit this site and remember all the brave souls that were lost that terrible day. The below photos is of the only remaing tree that survived the attacks and the photo below that is of the new buildings - 'One World'.
